Jonathan Wood
Physicians
Dr. Wood is a native of Georgia and Gwinnett County and has been practicing pediatric medicine since 2015. He graduated from Mercer University and then went on to complete both his medical training and pediatric residency program at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA. Before joining the PAL team in 2024, Dr. Wood was a Pediatrician at Longstreet Pediatrics in Oakwood, GA and at Pediatric Partners of Gwinnett in Lilburn, GA.
Dr. Wood is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs. He enjoys serving with special needs children in the preschool ministry at his church and has a special interest in the development and behavioral health of children.

Hi, I’m Dr. Jonathan Wood. I am so happy to have made the move to join the PAL family, and I am excited to continue to serve the children and families in our community. My favorite part of my job is that I get to partner with children and their parents to make healthy habits that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.
Food I Love
My favorite healthy food would have to be collard greens, which are a great source of fiber, antioxidants, and vitamins and minerals that are important for our heart, bone, liver, and even mental health.
My Secret Talent?
I’m a second degree black belt and actually taught martial arts before going to college.
My Advice?
Always treat others like you would want to be treated yourself.
